Cancellation Policy

1. Booking Cancellation and Refund Eligibility:

At Vagus Travel Co, we value your trust and strive to provide a comprehensive and fair cancellation and refund policy for all our travel offerings. Please carefully review the following policy to understand your rights and responsibilities regarding cancellations, modifications, and refunds.

Overland Day Tours without Hotel and Domestic Flight Ticket:

  - Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour's departure date.
  - Cancellation within 24 hours of departure will result in 100% deduction from the total amount.

Day Tours with Domestic Flight Tickets:

  1. Between 30 to 20 days before departure: Free cancellation.
  2. Between 19 to 15 days before departure: 25% deduction from the total amount.
  3. Between 14 to 7 days before departure: 50% deduction from the total amount.
  4. Between 6 to 4 days before departure: 75% deduction from the total amount.
  5. From 3 to 1 day before departure: 100% deduction from the total amount.

Tour Packages:

  1. Between 60 to 40 days before departure: Free cancellation.
  2. Between 39 to 25 days before departure: 25% deduction from the total amount.
  3. Between 24 to 17 days before departure: 50% deduction from the total amount.
  4. Between 16 to 10 days before departure: 75% deduction from the total amount.
  5. From 9 to 1 day before departure: 100% deduction from the total amount.

2. Booking Modifications:

  - Minor changes to bookings, subject to availability and supplier policies, may incur additional charges.
  - Major modifications may be treated as cancellations, subject to the terms outlined above.

3. Refund Processing:

  - Refunds will be processed within 40 business days upon receiving a valid cancellation request.
  - Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, allowing for additional time based on your financial institution's policies.

4. Booking Payment Details:

  - Overland Tours: 

No hotel or domestic flight ticket bookings require more than 20% of the total amount as a deposit, payable to the guide. The remaining balance can be paid in cash (Egyptian Pounds, USD, Euro) or via credit card with an additional 3% bank fee.

  - Day Tours with Domestic Flight Tickets: 

A deposit of 35% of the total amount is required for day tours with domestic flight tickets. The balance can be settled with the guide in cash (Egyptian Pounds, USD, Euro) or credit card with a 3% bank fee.

  - Tour Packages:

For tour packages, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required. The remaining amount can be paid in cash (Egyptian Pounds, USD, Euro) or credit card with a 3% bank fee.
