Day 3: Activity - 1
Mount Nebo visit

After breakfast at your Wadi Rum tent, your journey continues with a roughly 4-hour drive to Mount Nebo. This biblical site holds great significance, as it is believed to be the place where Moses first laid eyes on the Promised Land before his passing. From the summit of Mount Nebo, you'll enjoy sweeping vistas that encompass the Jordan Valley, the hills of Jerusalem, and the glistening waters of the Dead Sea. On a clear day, ancient sites like Jericho and Bethlehem may also come into view, adding to the majesty of the scenery.

Your next stop takes you to Madaba, a city renowned for its 6th-century AD mosaic map of the Holy Land, which is meticulously preserved in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. This mosaic map is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, providing valuable insights into the geology and topography of the region during ancient times. As you marvel at the intricate details and vibrant colors of this historic artwork, you'll gain a fresh perspective on biblical narratives, making it a truly captivating experience.

Day 3: Activity - 2
Swimming in the dead sea

Around 2 p.m., your journey continues along winding roads, leading you to the Earth's lowest point. Here, you'll have the unique opportunity to spend the day swimming in the world's saltiest body of water, the Dead Sea. As you float effortlessly on the surface of this hypersaline lake, you'll experience its renowned buoyancy, making it an extraordinary and surreal sensation. Take advantage of this time to relax and rejuvenate, knowing that the minerals and mud from the Dead Sea are widely known for their therapeutic and cosmetic properties.

Despite its harsh climate, the Dead Sea is renowned for these exceptional qualities that have attracted visitors for millennia. The mineral-rich mud found here is said to work wonders for the skin and is far more effective than many skincare products. Just remember, splashing in the Dead Sea is not recommended, as the high salt content can be quite uncomfortable if it enters your eyes or mouth.

While you're here, you'll also savor a delicious meal with a spectacular view of the Dead Sea, making this experience even more memorable.
